The CCTV Saga
Day 1 CCTV Footage: Black Bloc Smashing of First National Bank Windows
Camera: Minnesota & 4th (2627)

This event is one of the most talked about and reported incidents during the Republican National Convention. On Day 1, the pictured group of approximately 200 people, who had broken away from a planned march of 10,000 people, walked through Downtown St. Paul. Only about 5 of these 200 or so people can be witnessed breaking/moving anything.

It is astonishing to finally witness the banal footage of this much-hyped event. Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher's claim that—had he not conducted pre-RNC raids of protest organizers homes, St. Paul would have been "destroyed"—is exposed as a complete distortion.
