In one of the homes on 23rd Avenue that was raided, 23-year-old resident Curtis Griling reported that, "They beat down the door and stormed the first floor with machine guns drawn." KSTP's Chris Keating bizarrely follows this quote by describing the raid, "when police walked in with warrants in hand". From the Harriet Avenue home, only duct tape, a machete, and "phone numbers" were taken. Sheriff Fletcher repeats the "buckets of urine" line which according to the lawyer of the residents, was in fact grey water (kitchen sink water that was being recycled to flush toilets).
