Plea agreement signed by Bradley Crowder

Bradley Crowder, one of the "Texas Two", signed this plea agreement with the Federal Government.

According to his support website:

Brad Crowder appeared in federal court on Thursday, January 8th, 2009, where he plead guilty to possessing an unregistered firearm (as Molotov cocktails are defined by federal law) in return for federal prosecutors dropping two other firearm charges. Each of the three charges carried a maximum of 10 years in prison.

If U.S. Chief Judge Michael J. Davis accepts that Brad played a "minor role" in the scheme, he will be sentenced to 30 to 37 months, otherwise he faces 37 to 46 months in prison. His plea came a day after the same judge ruled that the riot shields seized by St. Paul police without a search warrant, could be used at the upcoming trial.

According to David McKay's lawyer, Jeff DeGree, they are still planning on going forward to trial. David's father, Michael McKay is adamant that his son was the victim of entrapment:

"There is a bunch of lying in this story, especially Mr. Darby, the so-called informant. He's nothing but a liar. I will prove that in court. He's the one who trained those kids, he's the one who pushed them, he's the one who got them to commit the criminal activity, all of that for the FBI."

David's trial begins on January 26th, where he faces up to 30 years in prison for charges related to possession and assembly of the Molotov cocktails.
